This support group meets virtually to encourage, support, and emphasize self-care for family caregivers regardless of the diagnosis of the care receiver.
Starting March, 23, 2020 we will begin providing our support services 'virtually'. HSLO support groups will be facilitated through 'Zoom Meetings' with pre-registration and access code assignment. Individual grief counseling sessions will be available by appointment via telephone or Zoom Meetings with our grief counselors. Care management services will be provided by telephone. We regret that state regulations leave us unable to work with people outside of California.

California does not require licensing for volunteer hospices, so long as neither a charge is made for its services, nor is skilled nursing provided. The State Attorney General monitors operations.
