Young Ireland Benefit Concert

Father-son duo Patrick (guitar, mandolin, vocals) and Michael O’Hara (vocals) have been performing as Young Ireland since 2010 and will be accompanied by Patrick Pearson (Cuesta Ridge, Resination) on lead guitar and Bob Liepman (Bob & Wendy, Shadowlands) on cello & mandocello.  Young Ireland’s original compositions are in the vein of American folk music (as opposed to a traditional Irish session) but reflect the spirit of the Irish struggles, triumphs and traditions in both Ireland and America from the 1600's to modern day.  Young Ireland has performed throughout California, as well as for a number of Folk Music Societies (New York City and San Diego) and in Waterford, Ireland.

Music starts at 7:00 p.m. and the doors open at 6:00 p.m. for concert goers to enjoy complimentary appetizers as well as wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages.  The cost is $35 per person and 100% of the proceeds benefit Hospice SLO County.  The event is presented and exclusively sponsored by Wacker Wealth Partners.  Young Ireland is performing free of charge and making a separate cash donation to Hospice SLO County.
