WALK FOR HEALING 2023 WRAP UP

Our virtual Walk For Healing in May and June was a success! We surpassed our $50,000 fundraising goal with the help of 368 donors for a grand total of $51,068.

The 198 active participants logged an astounding 18,710 miles by walking, running, hiking, biking, swimming, and other activities throughout May and June 2023. There was participation from Arizona, California, Colorado, Washington DC, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Washington, Australia, France, Great Britain, the Philippines, Singapore, and South Africa. Sixty individuals recorded over 100 miles, twenty-one recorded over 200 miles, and eight recorded over 300 miles!

Hospice SLO County is humbled by this tremendous support. The funds raised will be used to support our overhead and to recruit, train, and supervise volunteers who will support the ill, dying and bereaved in SLO County. THANK YOU!
