Come of Age - Reading and Reportage with Stephen Jenkinson

“Getting older is inevitable; becoming an elder is a skill.” - Stephen Jenkinson, MTS, MSW

Join us for Come of Age – Reading and Reportage with Stephen Jenkinson, MTS, MSW on Tuesday, June 26 from 7 – 9 pm. This evening will be held at The Monday Club, 1815 Monterey St, San Luis Obispo.

Acclaimed Canadian cultural activist and author Stephen Jenkinson returns to San Luis Obispo to discuss his upcoming book, Come of Age: The Case for Elderhood in a Time of Trouble. In his signature provocative style, he makes the case that we must birth a new generation of elders, one poised and willing to be true stewards of the planet and its species. He argues elderhood is a function, not an identity.
